Trails of BergWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental With
400 kilometres of clean mountain landscape and incredible viewpoints. Mountain
bikers and cyclists will be so captivated by all the different impressions
in the BergWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental that they will hardly be
able to leave their saddles. Between valleys, pastures and mountain peaks,
with the towering highlight of the Wilder Kaiser, there are plenty of stunning
stretches to be discovered – from the gentle to the extreme. Whiz
down the charming side valleys and along streams between the BergWelt villages.
Take advantage of the free bathers’ and hikers’ bus, the
“Kaiser Jet”, which transports cyclists and their bikes to
all the best set-off points. It runs 4 times a day between the pools, lakes
and mountain lifts in the BergWelt villages of Itter, Söll, Scheffau,
Ellmau and Going. Mountain bikers will love conquering the Hohe Salve,
Fleiding and Brandstadl peaks one after the other. Spare yourself the exhausting
up-hill stage of your panoramic bike tour with the BergWelt lift and hiking
pass (3/7/14 days) – 12 out of the 13 mountain lifts that are in
operation will whisk bikes up to the lofty heights instead. Then there
is nothing to stop you from enjoying the wonderful high-altitude trails
to pastures, alpine lakes and peaks and racing down the speedy downhill
tracks. Thanks to a “link” to the new BIKE TRAIL TIROL, a route
system that runs all the way across Tyrol, there is practically endless
biking fun to be had.
Whether you are a hobby cyclist, freerider or marathon fan, there is
a bike tour to suit everyone. On gravel roads and trails, the routes take
you through charming countryside with cultural and culinary delights along
the way! And if you prefer to leave your own bike at home, there are professional
bike rental points in all the villages in the BergWelt Wilder Kaiser –
Brixental, so everybody can get on the move!
