Tour operator Solos Holidays, reputed for escorted group holidays, have launched their latest summer brochure. They are boasting an addition of diverse holidays for single travellers, with over 100 destinations to choose from. The trips include walking in Halkidiki and cruises to the Galapagos Islands.
In a recent poll carried out by Solos Holiday the majority of people, 82 per cent felt that being single gave them the opportunity to try new experiences and 89 per cent said that travelling on their own boosted their confidence, made them more spontaneous and adventurous.
The new brochure contains 39 new holidays. The holidays vary from black tie balls costing £59, off-road adventures in Northamptonshire, experiencing the vibrancy of Barcelona, golfing in Mauritius or going on safari in Botswana or Zambia.
The advantage for single travellers of using Solos Holiday is that they dont charge you for being a single traveller, unlike most other companies, and you get to try something new.
Single travellers are often at a disadvantage because of the amount charged for single supplements. This can sometimes be 50 per cent of the cost of the holiday. The majority of Solos holidays do not have such a charge.
New holidays in the current brochure include themed weekend breaks in the UK, exotic holidays and cultural and activity breaks in Europe.
Gill Harvey, Managing Director said, "The new brochure is our most comprehensive to date. I am confident that we have provided a spectacular collection of new and diverse holidays for the single and unattached.
"We are renowned for the strong relationships we build with guests, our friendly and attentive tour leaders the tremendous choice of activities and the wide range of destinations we offer.
"Our 23 years experience means we know exactly how to put our groups together and how best to encourage people to try new things and with no single supplements we always strive to deliver value for money.
"Call our friendly reservations team who will have their expert knowledge at their finger tips, to guide someone through booking their Solo Holiday."
